Without any particular reason, a colon polyp might be growing inside you. This is an extra tissue which will develop into the large intestine and can sometimes be a big problem.
The major difficulty with colon polyps is that they can appear with no symptoms. However, if you have a bowel movement problem which lasts more than 7 days, you should see a specialist. This and rectal bleeding are both signs of colon polyps. The good part is that even if you have them, there is a big chance that they are benign.
