Dangers of Intestinal Parasites

You can become infected with intestinal parasites in a number of ways including uncooked/undercooked foods, in drinking water that is contaminated, and exposed skin. While it isn’t always clear how you were exposed, it won’t matter much once you are infected. The symptoms can range from mild to severe but for the most part, parasitic infections can be treated.

There are so many symptoms and dangers of being infected with intestinal parasites that sometimes those symptoms can also be indicative of other illnesses and are often overlooked. That is one of the very real dangers because it means that the infection might not be treated in a timely manner. Some of the symptoms that might be overlooked are abdominal pain, anemia, chronic fatigue, diarrhea, dizziness, coughing, joint pain, sweating, insomnia, mental problems and muscle spasms. Those are just ‘some’ of the symptoms that can be indicative of a number of other illnesses or conditions. This is why being infected with intestinal parasites can be extremely dangerous. It can even lead to blindness, rectal hemorrhage and believe it or not, enlargement of different organs throughout the body.

Because the symptoms are also common to other illnesses and the diagnosis isn’t always clear at first, a regular colon cleanse/detox can do a world of good to prevent an all out infection. There are several great natural colon cleansing products on the market that are known to inhibit and/or treat parasitic infections. It is suggested that you consult your doctor prior to use, however, if your medical professional is unable to make a diagnosis with any degree of certainty, a good cleansing is in order.
