Colon Massage

Caring for your colon should be one of your health priorities. Aside from eating a diet high in fiber and drinking lots of healthy fluids, there are other things you can do to keep your colon healthy. One example is the colon massage. You can do this either internally or externally. An internal colon massage involves an enema with a colonic solution. You can do this in your home. An enema kit can be purchased from your local drugstore.

An external colon massage can be done easily. You don’t need any kit to accomplish this. This should be done in a quiet place. You might want to do this right before you move bowels, when you’re already sitting on the toilet. Use body or massage oil so that you will not hurt your skin. Start the massage by making small circular movements in the lower right area of your torso, near the appendix. Then move slowly up your abdomen until you reach your right side beneath the ribs. Then massage the left side of your ribs down to your groin.

A colon massage will help waste move along the colon. If waste is not accumulated in the colon, you will feel a lot better; your overall healthy will improve. Do a colon massage daily so that your digestive tract will continue working properly.
